Automated Gates-Homes are getting smarter all the time, thanks to great advances in technology. We start at our gates where we now have automated ones which are remotely controlled and have battery backups and can be solar powered to avoid the inconvenience when there is no power.
Motion sensors-A motion sensor uses one or multiple technologies to detect movement in an area. If a sensor is tripped, a signal is sent to your security system’s control panel, which connects to your monitoring center, alerting you and the monitoring center to a potential threat in your home.
Surveillance Camera-Home security cameras are a crucial investment in protecting your home. Package thieves and home burglars shouldn’t be able to get away with their deeds unnoticed, and yet it’s likely that they’ll be long gone before you even know you’re a victim. They may even get away scot-free if your home isn’t equipped with the right technology to ID any robbers

What’s the best smart tech you can use in your living room? This is the first question the hits our mind and down here we breakdown a few smart tech products that will give us the answer
Smart speakers-If you fancy relaxing to some music, rather than using the same old speakers try the new life of smart speakers with voice controls(Home-pods, The Sonos, Amazon Echo, Jbl link 20, Google next Hub Max etc)
Smart Light Bulbs-We now have colour changing bulbs and which works with Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.having voice commands in our lighting fixtures makes our living rooms fun to be at.
Smart Plug-This what most of us refer to as sockets, Wemo mini being among the top rated ones. the Mini does work with HomeKit, Alexa, Google Assistant. A simple on/off switch also lets you control any appliance connected to it, no smartphone needed. It even has a clever Away mode, which lends the appearance that you’re home.
Smart Tv-While regular TVs have been around for decades, these so-called “dumb TVs” only do one thing: Receive signal from an Hdtv Antena cable or another A/V source. Much like smartphones and smart home devices, offer internet connectivity and support for a range of apps. This opens up a world of new entertainment options, from streaming video, checking social media, controlling audio gadgets and lastly playing games.
KITCHEN
Kitchens are becoming smarter thanks to technology advances from main companies like LG, Samsung among others today we highlight a few appliances that makes our cooking areas Smart.
1-Fridge. Normally a fridge is used for preservation but with the upcoming technology we have seen advancements to its role eg.
(A)We have the latest LG models which can scan the grocery receipts and the fridge keeps tab of what is inside
(B)Samsung has its latest model which caught our eyes at the 2019 CES-Consumer Electronic Show….Samsung RF28NHEDBSR has inbuilt cameras which you can access in your smartphone app and see what needs to be purchased even when you are out of the house and had not made a grocery shopping list.
2-Electric oven and Microwave. Wall oven Microwave combos have a microwave in their upper compartment and an oven in the lower one. Since there are many models today we shall look at the GE Profile PT7800XH. The GE Profile series has two self-cleaning options. The self-cleaning option with steam cleaning is available with the lower oven. You also have the choice of using the heavy duty roller rack that accesses items easily.
