Welcome to our weekly blog where we shall be sharing all Apple products releases, news and general updates. Here at Apple Center Ke, we have a team dedicated to gathering all information we feel is insightful to our clients and the public at large.
We go back to 20th of September when Apple launched 3 iPhone models (iPhone 11, iPhone 11 pro and the iPhone 11pro max) at the Steve Jobs Theatre Cupertino. The release of 3 gadgets was not a new thing as it started the year 2017 with the release of iPhone X /iPhone 8/iPhone 8plus.
It has always been an Apple policy to keep the new gadgets a secret to the public but of late we have seen many predictions as early as 3months to be true after the official releases.
iPhone 11 PRO MAX
The iPhone 11 Pro Max is the largest and most powerful phone Apple has ever created. It takes the very best of its technology and combining it with an upgraded design that includes a new matte back and three cameras.
Digging deeper into the camera, we’re impressed most with the Night mode: the iPhone 11 Pro Max is capable of turning night almost into day, but doing so while preserving plenty of detail.
The ultra-wide camera has its own unique qualities. Though it lacks Night Mode’s amazing low-light effects, the three cameras offer more options. The iPhone 11 Pro Max has an A13 Bionic chip, 4GB of RAM and at least 64GB of storage. Apple promises that the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s battery will last five hours longer than the XS Max from last year, and that claim is validated in our tests.
Apple’s 3D Touch, debuted back on the iPhone 6S, and has been completely removed from the new iPhones. In its place is what Apple had on the iPhone XR last year: “Haptic Touch.” This feature uses subtle taps that kick in when you hold a finger on the display, making it seem like you pressed down
iPhone 11
The iPhone 11 is available in six colours: black, white, red, purple, green, and yellow. It is powered by Apple’s new A13 Bionic chip, which Apple taunts as its fastest processor ever. As for battery life, the iPhone 11 packs one-hour more battery life than the iPhone XR.
The iPhone 11 is something of a surprise – it brings more advanced technology (namely in the camera capabilities and the processing power under the hood) and yet offers it for less than the iPhone XR cost in 2018. It combines a large 6.1-inch display with a premium-feeling body.
The display is bright enough and responds well under the finger, with bright sunlight performance good and the overall movie and video streaming playback strong
Overall the iPhone 11 is a triumph for Apple – if, for nothing else, the fact it’s managed to lower the price year-on-year.
iPhone 11 PRO
The iPhone 11 Pro is Apple’s latest iPhone that has people asking us “What’s really changed?” It’s a fair question because it looks very similar to last year’s iPhone. But use the new cameras for a few minutes and that question fades away.
The rear glass has been toughened to withstand more knocks, bumps, water, and dust. However, it has changed to introduce a new camera section and now gets a matte frosted finish, so it doesn’t reflect as much.
While the iPhone 11 gets six colours to choose from, the iPhone 11 Pro has
four colour options. The first three – Space Grey, Silver, Gold – are the same as the iPhone XS range, while the fourth – the new Midnight-Green – we think is the best of the bunch, coming across as a dark forest-like hue.
While the iPhone 11 Pro features the same size display as the XS, at 5.8- inches, it’s not the same display and comes with some considerable upgrades. There’s still True Tone support and a wide colour gamut, but it now offers up to 1,200nits peak brightness.
However, what isn’t included in the iPhone 11 Pro is bilateral or reverse wireless charging which would allow you to charge your AirPods or Apple Watch by placing them on the back of the device – something that Apple competitors, such as Huawei and Samsung, offer in various devices.
