Apple’s September 9, 2025 keynote at Apple Park delivered a full lineup of new devices across iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods. Here’s a complete breakdown of everything announced.
iPhone 17 Pro & iPhone 17 Pro Max

The spotlight first turned to the iPhone 17 Pro models. Apple introduced a new single-piece aluminum unibody design with Ceramic Shield 2 glass not only on the front but also on the back, bringing enhanced durability. The Pro comes in a 6.3-inch size while the Pro Max stretches to 6.9 inches, both featuring Super Retina XDR displays with ProMotion up to 120Hz, an Always-On mode, and brightness peaking at 3000 nits

Powering them is the A19 Pro chip, paired with a vapor chamber cooling system that keeps performance steady even under heavy workloads. The camera system received one of the biggest overhauls: three 48-megapixel “Fusion” lenses, including a new tetraprism telephoto that can reach an 8× zoom, plus an upgraded 48MP Ultra Wide for sharper wide shots and macros. ProRes RAW, Apple Log video, and genlock syncing were added for advanced video creators. On the front, an 18MP square-shaped Center Stage camera debuts, capable of Dual Capture and stabilized 4K HDR video. The Pro lineup also features the longest battery life ever in an iPhone, with 50% fast charging in just 20 minutes.

iPhone Air

Apple also unveiled an entirely new addition: the iPhone Air. At just 5.6 mm thick, it becomes the slimmest iPhone ever, built with a titanium frame and Ceramic Shield protection on both sides. Despite its razor-thin body, the Air carries a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion, Always-On support, and the same outdoor brightness as the Pros.
Inside, the A19 Pro powers everything, supported by the N1 chip for next-gen wireless standards and the C1X modem for 5G. Battery life holds steady for all-day use, helped by adaptive power management in iOS 26, and Apple introduced a slim MagSafe battery pack accessory for extended playback. The camera system relies on a single 48MP Fusion sensor that smartly emulates multiple focal lengths, offering both 1× and 2× optical-quality zoom. Focus Control also allows depth data to be captured for portrait effects, even without a second lens. Like the Pro, it carries the new 18MP Center Stage front camera and full 4K60 Dolby Vision video recording.

iPhone 17

The base iPhone 17 received a major refresh. Its design uses aluminum with Ceramic Shield 2 glass on the front, slimmer bezels, and IP68 water resistance, available in a range of five colors. The screen matches the Pro’s 6.3-inch size and, for the first time, brings ProMotion 120Hz to the standard iPhone line.
Under the hood is the A19 chip, offering faster CPU and GPU performance alongside an improved Neural Engine. Storage now starts at 256GB, while the battery is rated for up to 30 hours of video playback, charging to 50% in 20 minutes with the new adapter. The camera setup consists of two 48MP lenses: a Wide main camera with 2× telephoto capability via sensor crop, and a new 48MP Ultra Wide for crisper wide shots and better macro photography. The front camera has been upgraded to the same 18MP Center Stage system, supporting group framing and Dual Capture recording.

Apple Watch Series 11

On the wearable side, Apple introduced Watch Series 11 with new health and fitness capabilities. The standout feature is Hypertension Notifications, designed to detect possible signs of chronic high blood pressure using long-term data from the heart sensor. Sleep tracking now condenses into a single morning Sleep Score, making rest quality easier to interpret.
Series 11 improves endurance with up to 24 hours of battery life and faster charging that adds eight hours in just 15 minutes. Display durability is stronger than before with ceramic-bonded Ion-X glass for aluminum models and sapphire crystal for titanium. For connectivity, Series 11 is the first Apple Watch to support 5G, and workout tracking gains a new AI-powered “Workout Buddy” coach that delivers real-time encouragement. The design remains slim and light, with new finishes across both aluminum and titanium cases.

Apple Watch Ultra 3

Apple also announced the Watch Ultra 3, maintaining its rugged titanium build but now featuring the largest and brightest Apple Watch display to date. The new LTPO3 OLED allows thinner borders, higher off-angle visibility, and smoother Always-On refresh at one-second intervals.
Battery life extends further, lasting up to 42 hours of regular use or 72 hours in Low Power Mode. The Ultra 3 debuts built-in satellite connectivity, enabling two-way messaging, emergency SOS, and Find My updates even without cellular or Wi-Fi. Athletes benefit from precision dual-frequency GPS, advanced running metrics, and expanded cycling integrations, while health features such as Hypertension Notifications and Sleep Score carry over. It launches in Natural Titanium and Titanium Black finishes

Apple Watch SE 3

The more affordable Watch SE line gained an upgrade with the SE 3. Equipped with the new S10 chip, it brings faster performance and, for the first time, an Always-On Display. It also adds a wrist temperature sensor, expanding its health tracking to include sleep and fertility insights, along with Hypertension Notifications.
Battery life holds at an all-day 18 hours but now includes fast charging. The SE 3 retains the familiar aluminum build in 40mm and 44mm sizes, offered in Midnight and Starlight finishes

AirPods Pro 3

Closing out the announcements were the AirPods Pro 3. Apple refined their shape for a smaller fit and introduced foam-infused tips in five sizes for a tighter seal. The earbuds are now IP57 rated for water and sweat resistance.
Noise cancellation improves dramatically, with Apple claiming up to double the effectiveness compared to the previous generation. Transparency Mode has also been tuned to make voices sound more natural. A new heart rate sensor inside the earbuds adds workout tracking support, syncing with the Fitness app and integrating with Workout Buddy for live coaching feedback.
Battery life increases to eight hours of playback on a single charge, extending to 32 hours with the case. AirPods Pro 3 also support Live Translation in real-time conversations and retain MagSafe charging with Precision Find via Ultra Wideband.
